University of Campania “Luigi Vanvitelli” is proud to coordinate the European project CRYOSTAR, a Clean Aviation initiative!
Officially started on November 1, 2025, CRYOSTAR is already off to a flying start, with the project website online (https://cryostar-project.eu/) and the Kick-off Meeting taking place on November 5 in Brussels. The project will define and demonstrate a certification-oriented crashworthiness methodology for aircraft equipped with cryogenic LH₂ tanks. Prof. Alessandro De Luca from Department of Engineering, serves as the project coordinator for University of Campania “Luigi Vanvitelli”.
