Contents | The work of the year will be introduced by the type-morphological study of the primary house, following it in its evolution over time up to the aggregation in medium and complex housing systems. For the drafting of the projects inspired by it, various methods of freehand drawing and basic digital representation programs will be used in equal measure and properly integrated with each other. Important is the three-dimensional and comparative reading of the results achieved through models (maquette) at various metric scales |
Textbook and course materials | Massimiliano Rendina, Alcune idee sull’architettura |
Course objectives | The course provides the student with the basic tools to distinguish in the built urban landscape an artifact of contemporary architecture from the current building that fills most of the building spaces of the city. Through theoretical lessons and practical exercises the student will be introduced to understanding the complex process of composing architecture. |
Prerequisites | knowledge of technical design, knowledge of CAD drawing programs |
