Applicare le operazioni logiche fondamentali (AND, OR, NOT, XOR) e i teoremi di De Morgan. |

| Course objectives | Provide some basic elements to begin understanding how commonly used electronic engineering technologies work. Highlight the importance of mathematics as a tool for describing and analyzing reality. Arouse students' interest in the subject. To provide the student with the basics of modern microelectronics and logic circuits that can be realized using integrated electronic circuits. Distinguish between analog and digital signals, understanding their advantages and limitations. Apply fundamental logical operations (AND, OR, NOT, XOR) and De Morgan's theorems. Perform conversions between number systems (decimal ↔ binary). Understand the concept of Shannon's binary coding of information. Understand the differences between combinational and sequential circuits and understand the operation of adders, subtractors, flip-flops, shift registers, and binary counters. |
