    Il corso tratterrà i seguenti temi: (i) Coerenza strategica tra Operations e Strategia d’impresa – pianificazione strategica della capacità produttiva ; (ii) richiami delle classificazione e sulle principali tipologie di sistemi produttivi; (iii) richiami di misure operative dei sistemi di produzione: capacità produttiva, throughput, bottleneck rate, OEE, etc.; (iv) Gestione delle Scorte (EOQ, EPQ, scorte di sicurezza); (v) Just-in-time; (vi) Strategie produttive: chase vs level; (vii) Pianificazione Strategica: Master Production Schedule e tecniche di risoluzione; (viii) La pianificazione dei fabbisogni: Material Requirement Planning e Capacity Requirement Planning; (ix) Theory of Constraints e Synchronous Manufacturing; (x) La pianificazione operativa: Scheduling e tecniche di risoluzione; (xi) Ottimizzazione dei flussi logistici interni: routing e tecniche di risoluzione; (xii) Lean Thinking e Lean Production; (xiii) Lean Six Sigma e suoi strumenti.

    Obiettivi formativi

    Il corso mira al trasferimento dei metodi fondamentali propri della gestione quantitativa dei sistemi di produzione di beni e servizi, attraverso la presentazione di tecniche e modelli di pianificazione, programmazione e controllo della produzione industriale sul lungo, medio e breve periodo. Il corso, pertanto, mira a generare nello studente conoscenza e consapevolezza dei principali problemi operativi delle aziende di produzione e dei relativi possibili metodi e tecniche di risoluzione.

    Metodologie didattiche

    Lezioni frontali da 2 ore ciascuna; esercitazioni in aula.

    Metodi di valutazione

    Verifica orale unica. Gli esami sono fissati con cadenza mensile (ad eccezione della pausa estiva) e con almeno 3 date in ciascuna delle finestre.

    The course deals with the achievement of the following fundamental knowledges transfers: (i) Strategic coherence between Operations and Business Strategy - strategic planning of production capacity; (ii) references to classification and to the main types of production systems; (iii) references to operational measures of production systems: production capacity, throughput, bottleneck rate, OEE, etc .; (iv) Inventory Management (EOQ, EPQ, safety stocks); (v) Just-in-time; (vi) Production strategies: chase vs level; (vii) Strategic Planning: Master Production Schedule and resolution techniques; (viii) Requirements planning: Material Requirement Planning and Capacity Requirement Planning; (ix) Theory of Constraints and Synchronous Manufacturing; (x) Operations planning: Scheduling and resolution techniques; (xi) Optimization of internal logistics flows: routing and resolution techniques; (xii) Lean Thinking and Lean Production; (xiii) Lean Six Sigma and its tools.

    Course objectives

    The course aims at transferring the fundamental methods of quantitative management of the production systems of goods and services, through the presentation of techniques and models of planning, programming and control of industrial production in the long, medium and short term. Therefore, the course aims to generate in the student knowledge and awareness of the main operational problems of the production companies and of the related possible methods and resolution techniques.

    Teaching methods

    Lessons of 2 hours each; exercises in class.

    Evaluation methods

    Oral Exam. The exams are fixed monthly (except for the summer break) and with at least 3 dates in each of the windows.
