Lingua di insegnamento | ITALIANO |
Contenuti | MATLAB: Elementi fondamentali; Manipolazione di vettori e matrici; Operazioni scalari e matriciali; Grafici; Polinomi; Interpolazione; Programmazione strutturata; Funzioni matematiche. |
Testi di riferimento | A. Cavallo, R. Setola, F. Vasca, La Nuova Guida MATLAB, Simulink e Control Toolbox, Liguori Editore, 2002. |

Contents | MATLAB: Basic elements; Manipulation of vectors and matrices; Scalar and matrix operations; Charts; polynomials; interpolation; Structured programming; Mathematical functions. |
Textbook and course materials | A. Cavallo, R. Setola, F. Vasca, La Nuova Guida MATLAB, Simulink e Control Toolbox, Liguori Editore, 2002. |
Course objectives | The first part of the course proposes to approach the student to the MATLAB software as an environment for numerical processing. The environment will be presented first in general and then specifically for problems related to the system theory and to automatic controls. In the second part the signal conditioning will be treated through the use of operational amplifiers and microcontrollers. Filters will be simulated, implemented and tested in the laboratory. |
Prerequisites | Basic knowledge of computer science and system theory |
Teaching methods | Lessons will be divided into hours of classroom teaching and hours of practice, directly in the laboratory. The classroom hours will be used for the presentation of the techniques to be used to solve the assigned problems. The hours in the laboratory will be used to allow the students to practically use the software and the hardware presented. |
Evaluation methods | The final evaluation will be carried out by means of a practical test in order to better evaluate the results obtained by the students in the using of the proposed techniques to be adopted to solve the assigned problems, and also in the using of the hardware and software presented. |
