    Contenuti

    Il corso si propone di trasferire agli studenti conoscenze e competenze utili alla risoluzione delle problematiche di marketing connesse alla creazione di valore per il cliente, considerata quale presupposto fondamentale per la generazione di valore economico per l’impresa. Attraverso il costante riferimento a casi reali e concrete situazioni di mercato, il corso intende fornire gli strumenti e il metodo per la redazione di un piano di marketing che integri aspetti strategici e operativi.

    Obiettivi formativi

    Lo studente che avrà seguito con profitto il corso sarà in grado di:
    a) applicare le teorie fondamentali del marketing alla realtà delle imprese e dei mercati;
    b) utilizzare gli strumenti e i metodi appresi per risolvere problematiche concrete di marketing, coniugando i principali aspetti strategici con la configurazione delle leve del marketing-mix;
    c) lavorare in gruppo ed eseguire ricerche su specifiche tematiche, utilizzando in maniera opportuna dati e informazioni reali su prodotti, imprese e mercati;
    d) impostare un piano di marketing, prestando attenzione alla coerenza tra la fase analitico-strategica e quella operativa;
    e) esporre le conoscenze e le competenze acquisite, dimostrando adeguate abilità comunicative.

    Metodologie didattiche

    La didattica risulta articolata come segue:

    a) lezioni frontali, in cui viene costantemente stimolato il coinvolgimento degli studenti, invitati a partecipare per esprimere idee, presentare esempi tratti dalla realtà circostante e formulare domande;
    b) didattica attiva, realizzata attraverso analisi di casi studio, business simulation e role playing al fine di consentire agli studenti di contestualizzare le conoscenze acquisite;
    c) Video e seminari online, con testimonianze di imprenditori, manager, rappresentanti istituzionali e docenti universitari, volti ad approfondire specifiche tematiche del corso, anche attraverso la presentazione di case history di successo.

    Metodi di valutazione

    La valutazione degli studenti che hanno seguito il corso si basa sui seguenti elementi: un project work di gruppo (che viene valutato in trentesimi e rappresenta il 35% del voto finale), una prova scritta finale, con domande a risposta aperta e a risposta multipla, sui concetti e gli strumenti oggetto del programma (che è espressa in trentesimi e rappresenta un altro 35% del voto finale); un business game, a cui è associato il restante 30% del voto finale.

    Per gli studenti che non hanno seguito il corso, la valutazione si basa su una prova scritta, con domande a risposta aperta e a risposta multipla, sui concetti e gli strumenti oggetto del programma. L’esame può essere superato solo nel caso in cui lo studente risponda in maniera sufficiente alle domande soglia.

    In entrambi i casi, gli esaminandi dovranno dimostrare il possesso di conoscenze e competenze utili a comprendere autonomamente teorie e modelli concettuali relativi alle strategie di marketing, utilizzando gli strumenti cognitivi acquisiti durante il corso per elaborare soluzioni alle problematiche esposte.

    The course aims to provide students with knowledge and skills required to solve marketing problems related to the creation of customer value, considered as a fundamental element for generating economic value for the company. Through the constant reference to real cases and concrete market situations, the course intends to provide the tools and the method for developing a marketing plan that integrates strategic and operational aspects.

    Course objectives

    On successful completion of the course, students will be able to:
    a) apply the fundamental theories of marketing to the reality of companies and markets;
    b) use the tools and methods learned to solve concrete marketing problems, combining the main strategic aspects with the configuration of the marketing-mix levers;
    c) work in groups and carry out research on specific topics, using in a proper way real data and information about products, companies and markets;
    d) set up a marketing plan, paying attention to the coherence between the analytical-strategic phase and the operational one;
    e) present the acquired knowledge and competences, demonstrating good communication skills.

    Teaching methods

    Teaching activities are structured as follows:

    a) lectures with continuous involvement of students; indeed, they are invited to participate in order to express ideas, present examples taken from the surrounding reality and formulate questions;
    b) active teaching, carried out through the analysis of case studies, business simulations and role playing, in order to allow students to contextualize the acquired knowledge;
    c) Videos and seminars with testimonials from entrepreneurs, managers, institutional representatives and university professors, aimed at examining specific topics of the course, also through the presentation of successful case histories.

    Evaluation methods

    For attending students, course assessment is based on the following elements: a group project work (which is evaluated out of thirty and represents 35% of the final grade), a final written test, with open-ended and multiple-choice questions, on the concepts and tools covered by the program (which is expressed out of thirty and represents another 35% of the final grade); a business game, to which the remaining 30% of the final grade is associated.

    For non-attending students, course assessment will be based on a written test, with open-ended and multiple-choice questions, on the concepts and tools covered by the program.
    The exam can only be passed if the student sufficiently answers the threshold questions.

    In both cases, the examinees will have to demonstrate the possession of knowledge and skills useful to autonomously understand theories and conceptual models related to marketing strategies, using the cognitive tools acquired during the course in order to develop solutions to the problems presented.
