Testi di riferimento | • R.L. Bisplinghoff, H Ashley, R.L. Halfman – Aeroelasticity – Dover Publication Inc, New York |
Programma del corso | Il programma del corso è articolato come segue: |

Textbook and course materials | • R.L. Bisplinghoff, H Ashley, R.L. Halfman – Aeroelasticity – Dover Publication Inc, New York |
Course objectives | Applied aeroelasticity course aims to provide the basics on static and dynamic aeroelasticity with focus on the design and verification techniques to take into account aeroelasticity in aerospace structures. The student is expected to know the basis of static and dynamic aeroelasticity. The student is also expected to be able to perform aerolelastic design of aerospace structures. |
Prerequisites | The student must know the basics of aerospace structures, airplane aerodynamics and dynamics. |
Teaching methods | Lessons (38 hours) take 120 minutes. Exercises (10 hours) on the influence of design parameters on the aeroelastic behavior of aeronautical structural components are foreseen. |
Evaluation methods | By the end of the course an oral interview will contribute to the final evaluation. |
Other information | Monthly oral examinations are programmed (excluding summer holydays) |
