| Metodi didattici | Lezioni frontali da 2h ciascuna sui diversi temi della materia accompagnate da esercitazioni in aula sull'applicazione delle conoscenze acquisite. |
| Modalità di verifica dell'apprendimento | La verifica dell'apprendimento prevede una una prova orale in cui si illustrino i metodi e le tecniche utili a risolvere il project work. L'esame orale verificherà le capacità di collegamenti critici, la capacità di sintesi e approfondimento. |

| Course objectives | The teaching delves into the thermodynamic analysis of open components and thermodynamic cycles. By the end of the course, the student will acquire the ability to analyze and model complex energy systems and processes through the balance equations of energy, entropy. The course emphasizes an engineering approach to problem-solving, highlighting practical aspects and preparing the student for the use of tools and methods typical of Energy Systems Engineering |
| Prerequisites | Fundamentals of thermodynamics, Machinery fluid dynamics |
| Teaching methods | Frontal lessons of 2 hours each on the different topics of the subject accompanied by exercises in the classroom on the application of the knowledge acquired. |
| Assessment methods | The learning assessment includes an oral exam in which the methods and techniques useful for solving the project work are illustrated. The oral exam will verify the ability to make critical connections, the ability to synthesize and delve deeper. |
