Why choose the V: Department of Engineering
The Department of Engineering of the University of Campania “Luigi Vanvitelli” is located at the “Real Casa dell’Annunziata” in the city of Aversa. In addition to the historic complex of the “Real Casa dell’Annunziata”, the Department has three recently built facilities dedicated exclusively to teaching activities. The Department of Engineering offers a comprehensive educational program, bringing together the technical and scientific expertise of all three branches of Engineering: civil and environmental, industrial, and information engineering. The structure is well organized and is often chosen students to carry out their Erasmus+ study mobility. In fact, foreign students are looked after with great care in the Department of Engineering. The Department does not have a campus, but it is easy to find apartments to rent in the town of Aversa, which is much cheaper than Naples and Caserta. The internationalization office of the university is located in Caserta.
Language requirements
Italian, B2 level, no certification required. The preventive study of Italian and/or the attendance of free courses on the Italian language sometimes organized by the university of origin or by ours is recommended
Where to live?
The Department of Engineering of the University of Campania “Luigi Vanvitelli” is located in Aversa, in the province of Caserta. The city lies approximately 15–20 km from Naples, with convenient connections by rail, metro, and bus, and about 15 km from Caserta, which is also easily accessible by rail and bus.
The University’s International Office is based in Caserta. In Aversa, students can find lecture halls, study rooms, the library, and professors’ offices.
Although the Department does not have a campus, it is easy to find accommodation in Aversa, where rental prices are significantly lower than in Naples and Caserta. Living in Aversa also makes it easier to access Department facilities for classes, meetings with professors and tutors, and student services such as the library and study rooms.
