Lingua di insegnamento | Italiano |
Contenuti | Caratteristiche quali-quantitative delle acque reflue . Normative vigenti. Schemi di trattamento. Trattamenti preliminari e primari. Trattamenti secondari biologici a biomasse sospese e adese.
Programma del corso | Introduzione al corso. Ingegneria Sanitaria Ambientale: le origini e le finalità. |

Textbook and course materials | Ingegneria delle acque reflue, trattamento e riuso, METCALF & EDDY (versione italiana o inglese) |
Course objectives | The course aims at providing the criteria for a correct design of wastewater treatment plants. The various treatment units constituting the treatment cycle will be described in detail, providing for each of them the theoretical basis, the sizing criteria, the critical issues and the possible remedies to be adopted during the operating phase of the plant. The course is completed with the preparation of an electronic sheet useful for pre-sizing a wastewater treatment plant. |
Prerequisites | Basic knowledge of hydraulics, chemistry and sanitary and environmental engineering. |
Teaching methods | 48 hours of frontal lessons provided by the lecturer; |
Evaluation methods | The exam is oral and concerns the topics of the entire course, including the discussion of the electronic sheet. |
Other information | The course lecture notes will be available to the students at the end of each lesson. |
Course Syllabus | Introduction to the course. Sanitary and Environmental Engineering: origins and purposes. |
