Contenuti | Gli argomenti trattati nel corso riguardano le strutture cristalline, imperfezioni nei solidi, la diffusione di materia, le proprietà meccaniche, la meccanica della frattura, la fatica, i diagrammi di fase, il diagramma ferro-carbonio, idiagrammi TTT, l'equazione di Avrami, i trattamenti termici. Inoltre il corso fornisce cenni sui materiali polimerici e sui materiali compositi. |

Contents | The topics covered in the course concern the crystalline structures, imperfections in solids, the diffusion of matter, the mechanical properties, the fracture mechanics, the fatigue, the phase diagrams, the iron-carbon diagram, the TTT diagrams, the Avrami equation , the heat treatments. Furthermore, the course provides an overview of polymeric materials and composite materials. |
