Al termine del corso, lo studente dovrà aver acquisito le conoscenze
necessarie alla identificazione dei terreni ed alle principali caratteristiche fisiche e meccaniche e alla valutazione della risposta di semplici sistemi geotecnici.

PROVA ORALE.
Il requisito minimo per poter sostenere l'esame è l'aver compiutamente
svolto gli esercizi assegnati, sui
quali verranno poste una o più domande.
Si passerà quindi ad esaminare altri argomenti trattati nel corso.
La valutazione complessiva sarà basata, oltre che sulla conoscenza degli
argomenti, anche:
- sulla capacità di collegamento tra vari aspetti;
- sulla qualità dell’organizzazione del discorso e dell’esposizione;
- sulla capacità di approfondimenti.

At the end of the course, the student must be able to identify and characterize soils as well as to evaluate the response of simple geotechnical structures.

ORAL EXAM.
The minimum requirement to participate is that of having completed exerciseS and to discuss
about one or more aspects.
The exam will also investigate knowledge and understanding of other
topics.
All above will be the base for the overall evaluation, that will also include:
- ability to relate different aspects;
- communication skill;
- ability to go in-depth
